nina madjid is a self-taught artist, with a fondness for power tools and hardware that began when her father taught her to use a band saw at age 11.

she has attended the woodworking academy in alameda, california; daniel mack's rustic building at the crossings in austin, texas; and welding classes at santini ironworks and otis college of art and design in los angeles.

her work has been shown at the froden art gallery in los angeles and is part of the SPIN public art project in long beach.

nina lives and works and surfs in the thriving arts community that is venice, california.
